It is easy to use the laundry and dryer machine.
There were little space to work (i.e. deskwork).
Everything from facilities to the location was good.
In the email I received about hotel confirmation and when we rocked up at 146 Melbourne Street, there were no staff to help. It was ok to have everything automatic and self help systems but one should be informed about it before hand. I entered my details twice and the system said there was no vacancy. The least thing I would want to do is fight with a computer after a tired journey. When I called the phone help, they told me to come at Majestic Old Lion Apartments 9 Jerningham Street, North Adelaide. I went there and the lady took a while to fix everything. Then I came back to hotel and found out I need a pass for car park. I went back and lady said she forget about it. Finally, I went to hotel and found everything was brand spanking new. One more thing the car park doesn't allow you to park more than once. I would say that is just not fair. I have stayed at many hotel and they got plenty of parking.
Good location to shops and city.
It was comfortable and clean, the check in was seamless and the location of eating places outside the hotel was good.
I did not like the fact that you could not get in touch with someone to fix faulty items - such as the air con batteries.
The room was tastefully decorated
I dislike the self check in intensely. It's awful talking into an intercom to a faceless person when the machine does not recognise your booking. It's a very unpleasant way of entering a hotel without the friendliness of a normal reception counter
Staying at the Majestic Minima Hotel is brings you into the 21st century, the hotel was comfortable, in a perfect location, i would certainly stay again.
Had to pay for parking, no cooking facilities not even a microwave. One of the two computers did not work. Mould in bathroom, had been covered with masking tape?? No telephone in rooms or hotel. The 5 foxtel channels chosen were boring and nobody under the age of 30 would be interested. Stains on bed linen. No printer.
there needs to be a better system for obtaining the check in code when you book through .Booked.net. The codes provided to us at the time of booking didn't work when we tried to check in. We had to get a new code by ringing the emergency phone.
It's location, cleanliness and price.
Problem with key producing machine upon arrival. Had to call for staff to come and provide keys.
Good bed;clean, room; inclusions good for a three star. Hanging space not good , hate the hangars that are non detachable if you can't get into the closet; no good for business travellers
The room was small and well designed - exactly as I wanted it. Its location was very close to where my friends were so worked well for that. The central business district was a 20 minute walk and easily accessible by bus.
The lack of a room phone made things difficult as my overseas cellphone did not work in Australia. The Internet charges were very expensive. aud6.95 For 1 hour or 31mb.
The location is central to many good eating places and is convenient to get in and out with the underground carpark.
No views in certain rooms
We found the hotel very good. Even though the room size was small, the room was well appointed and had everything we needed. I particularly liked to share balcony on Level 2 at the front. Shame the weather wasn't a bit better. We also were impressed that the check-in was so user friendly.
Some of the TV channels that were listed did not work. Fox Sports would be a better option than ESPN for the sport channel. A movie channel would be nice.
the position is perfect, close to great shops and restaurants, very cosmopolitan as described. I liked that there were no staff, it felt very private, however staff are only round the corner if needed (I had a problem with the door card and that was easily rectified)
No, everything was fine, The room was surprisingly quiet for such a busy street.
Close to all my appointments without having to move my car
